The Wisconsin Mine is an abandoned Nevada mine that was considered to be a fallout shelter back in the 1960s. Based on an online map, the mine is over a thousand feet long with a branching tunnel or two. I found the entrance, however, to be partially collapsed and somewhat sketchy. Some shallow prospects were located higher on the hill above the Wisconsin Mine.
