Really nice to be back to this :) We'd reached this island previously, apparently called the "Floating Island". I waited months to start exploring it but today is the day. So what's out there?
Heading inland we find various plants including Jaffa Cup's, Speckled Rattler's and Pink Cap's. Worth taking the time to use our scanner on them. Heading for higher ground seems like a good idea, we can spot landmarks from up high and there's odd structures on the peaks themselves.
Along the way we find a cave with some sort of bizzare stargate thingy in it but it's no use to us yet. The structure on the first peak gives us bulkhead blueprints and a scanner room fragment. Inside is Disinfected water which seems fancy/useful and a Lantern Tree. Nothing to write home about really but we can see other landmarks from up there.
There's a more substantial structure nearby. Unfortunately it's overrun with Cave Crawlers, annoying little crab-like creatures. Inside the first structure is an abandoned "PDA: Degasi Voice Log #2 - Storm!" There were other survivors here at some point! There's also a bizarre Purple artifact o_O
The next structure gives us the Ultra glide fins blueprint and another abandoned PDA. This time it's Paul Torgal's Log #1 - Marooned. He is/was(?) a Degasi survivor apparently. Outside it there's a stasis rifle fragment, which sounds like loads of fun and an Exterior growbed which will allow us to plant our own stuff! O_O

I'll try to do more of this soon. really nice to be back and I want to see the rest of the island :)
