I distinctly recall that this theme is just very...weird when you first hear it. It's very calm and gentle, at least compared to most other battle themes in the game and that fact ends up being a little jarring.

Then you spend an hour or three trying to beat Cruise Chaser and it just...gets stuck in your head. It's very hypnotic, and that's the appeal right there.
