SideFX Labs introduces a new workflow for importing and exporting splines between Houdini and Unreal Engine using JSON files. With the Labs Unreal Spline SOP (Beta) and the SideFX Labs Unreal Plugin, you can now easily transfer splines between Houdini and Unreal Engine.

This workflow supports live editing and I/O of single and multiple splines, working with splines inside an Unreal Blueprint, and splitting splines from one Blueprint into multiple Actors. The project file also demonstrates various use cases, including using splines with Niagara, Geometry Script, and PCG, as well as exporting splines with tags to drive PCG-based mesh instancing.
