10This is the ULTIMATE tutorial for Exporting your GameMaker game to Ubuntu/Linux! This tutorial is designed for Ubuntu 24.04 and GameMaker 2024.8 but should theoretically work on any Debian/Ubuntu OS. Please ensure that all your software is up to date and that you have the Ubuntu export options installed in GameMaker. I might have enabled expert mode in VBox, your setup may look a little bit different than mine if that is the case. I believe it is just a toggle in settings.
