KVUE Reporter Mike Marut talks with Jonathan Warner, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department alligator program leader, about the big reptiles living in Texas and what can potentially be done to address the alligators living in a Del Valle retention pond.

A Del Valle resident called for help Dec. 2 after hearing a dog in distress near a pond in the Berdoll Farms neighborhood. Firefighters responded and found that three alligators do live in the area. However, officials could not confirm whether or not they had killed a dog.
