Originally launching on https://puntosimu.itch.io/extreme-rally-raid as the Convoy Edition demo in October 2021, the full game released on Steam in 2024. What you've got here is a large-distance rally raid type game made by a very small team, compared to the official recent Dakar titles.
There's a range of fast rally raid and classic cars to pick from, and proper Road Book navigation, like the Dakar titles (official and unofficial ones, all of which are covered in the Every PC Rally Game playlist).
Graphics are pretty simple, yet struggle badly on some tracks, which is a bit strange. Sound is okay, but most vehicles sound the same. Most locations are set in South America, but there are some snowy Snowden tracks to mix things up a little.
Overall, I think this might be marginally better than the free Dakar 2010/Dakar 2011/Dakar 2012/Rally Raid free titles... it's definitely more varied and better-looking than those games, but they're all made on a shoestring budget, compared to commercial behemoths like Dakar 18 and Dakar Desert Rally. And I like that plucky upstarts attempt full-on rally raid titles!
