A new update has happened in F-Zero 99, and included is Lucky Ranks, where every day, if you do up to 5 races, it will record your rank, and you can reveal the numbers, and they display 10 lucky numbers, and if you ranked in any of them, some of them can have only one number, for example, if the lucky number is 3 and your ranking has 3 as one of the digits, you can get a reward, and you can even get a reward if you used an F-Zero Machine displayed, the best way to make use of it is to use all four machines in each race, this gives you a good way to earn rewards.
The update also included Classic Race, where it uses the same style as the original F-Zero for the SNES, 20 players complete, and the tracks do seem smaller than in the main F-Zero 99 mode, and some mechanics are removed, like the Spin Attack, Skyway, and the ability to boost often, because you can only boost once per lap, this does make some of the tracks much harder, but this does provide a challenge for most players. From what I have seen, Silence, White Land II, and Fire Field never show up in Classic Race, likely because they are the last courses in each league in F-Zero, I could wonder how difficult those tracks would be if they appeared in Classic Race. This was a good update they included in F-Zero 99, and the Lucky Ranks does give you a way for players to take part in the game every day.
