Mario Party 3: Creepy Cavern
0This is the last board, or well, out of the starting boards, as there is an unlockable board in this game. This board is Creepy Cavern, which takes place in a cave inhabited by Whomps and Thwomps, and this one has two sides, where you can take a minecart to get to the other side. The character I use for this board is Mario, and I go with Yoshi, Peach, and Donkey Kong for the CPU players.
Going over Creepy Cavern, you can take the minecart by paying the Thwomp, and then you do an Action Time to board the minecart, and any player on the minecart tracks will move to the side it is moving to, this also happens if you step on a Happening Space. There is the Whomp King, who blocks a path and will not move unless you give him an item, like a Mushroom or Skeleton Key, and the Whomp King moves to the other side when you step on a Happening Space.
You can buy a Skeleton Key to access the other side, but there is having to deal with the Happening Space and the minecarts when getting to the Star when it appears on one side of the board.

Only two minigames make their first appearance on this board, the first one is Swinging with Sharks, an item minigame, and one of my least favourite ones to get due to having to time your jump to get an item, and the other one is Picture Imperfect, this one is where you have to hit a block to remake the original picture of a character, and you get more points if the picture is more accurate to the original, and the following characters that can appear in the picture are Mario, Toad, or Wiggler. The last board in the game is an unlockable board, and when I show that board, I will explain about how to unlock it.
