Hello and welcome to my new Track guide, this time i will take you around Monza.
For the first turn brake around the 100m board and shift down to second, then turn in earlier than the racing lane suggests.
Cut as much as possible on the first kerb, that will set you up for the second part of the chicane.
After touching the gas for a very slight amount shift down to first then up to third after you clipped the apex, go for a late apex and get as close to the sausage cerb as you can.
Dont instantly pin the throttle coming out of Turn 2 as wheelspin is your biggest enemy around there. As you come down to the straight, hold a close line to the right.
Same as before brake at the 100m board and again turn in earlier than the racing line suggests.
Cut as much as you can on the first corner and try to turn into the sausage kerb on turn 4. Be careful though because it can unsettle the car. You can run a bit wider than the kerb, because the clipping is messed up there
For lesmo 1 you need to have a light dab on the brake then accelerate as soon as possible, dont run to wide on the exit as that will lead to an invalidation
Brake at the 50m board and cut that inside kerb for lesmo 2, again dont run to wide as that will either spin you out or invalidate you.
Coming down to Ascari you will need to be really brave in order to gain a good time.
Brake just after the 100m board, then cut the first kerb and try to ride that kerb on the right until those orange and black sausage kerbs come up.
For the last bit its risky to cut the kerb but it gets you the best lap time, i avoid the last kerb because it unsettles your car and that will most of the times lead to an unrecoverable spin.
At parabolica brake at the 50m board then turn in earlier than me in the clip.
Try to get on the power as soon as possible
At the end of parabolica go to the right hand side of the track, as that distance is shorter to the finishing line than the racing line.
That was my guide for a hotlap around Monza.
Here is my setup and i hope you learnt something!
Goodbye and have fun on the track!
