Qualifying for the Australian Grand Prix is over and Max Verstappen bounces back from a tough practice to take pole position as Charles Leclerc's pace falls away and Verstappen will be lining up alongside Carlos Sainz in the Ferrari. Charles pace in practice could not be replicated in qualifying and now his race will be more difficult as he is starting in 4th place. Ahead of him is Lando Norris in the Mclaren who had a great qualifying, the pace of the Mclaren is much stronger than the Mercedes as Lewis Hamilton was eliminated in Q2 and George Russell is starting in 7th place.
Aston Martin were looking alright this weekend but it all came apart in qualifying as Fernando Alonso ran over the gravel and damaged his car and is P10 while teammate Lance Stroll is P9.
Yuki Tsunoda in the RB had a great day as RB are looking stronger this weekend.
