Qualifying and the Sprint race is over in China and Max Verstappen recovered from a difficult sprint qualifying to win the Sprint race and qualify on pole position for the grand prix and alongside him is teammate Sergio Perez as Red Bull dominated the session. Behind them in the Aston Martin is Fernando Alonso who once again had an incredible qualifying session and in this video we are going to be talking about Qualifying and looking at the data from the Sprint race to see what we can learn for the grand prix. Ferrari are looking strong with Charles Leclerc as he beat Carlos Sainz on track for the first time this year and will be starting ahead of him for the grand prix, but Carlos Sainz was not giving Leclerc an inch in the sprint race as they collided.
For Mercedes the difference between Qualifying and Sprint Qualifying is night and day. George Russell struggled in the Sprint Qualifying and Sprint race but recovered nicely in grand prix qualifying, teammate Lewis Hamilton had a great sprint qualifying and looked good in the sprint race but in grand prix qualifying he went out in Q1 after changing the setup and it looks like Hamilton will be in for a long grand prix. For Mclaren they were looking strong and are ahead of Ferrari with both Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, but Lando will be gutted that he threw away a potential sprint race win with a mistake at the start of the sprint race.
What did we learn from Sprint and Qualifying well in this video we will be looking at the data and making our final race predictions.
