I have found this WHDLoad version of F/A-18 Interceptor packaged with FS-UAE, with some fixes that deal with the speed issues on faster running CPUs (this FS-UAE is configured to emulate Amiga 1200). It does seem better with regards to the "typing text" in the briefings, though the gameplay itself is still too fast compared to the game running on stock A500, which makes the game actually harder. Anyway if you want to try this version yourself you can get it here:

In my opinion the best way to experience it is still playing on a stock A500 speeds, even if it's choppy.

For testing purposes I run the game trhough all of its missions in a single session and thought I would share the footage, so enjoy.
