So the new update finally dropped. There is plenty of new features, most notably the new electronic warfare aircraft which also posseses STOVL capability. Also notable addition is support for Track IR. You need to replace 2 files in your Track IR user folder though for it to work currently - check out the pinned comment in Steam forums.

Some cool new mechanics have been introduced with the new aircraft:
• you can use your jammer pod to jam specific SAMs, making their SAHRs missiles in the air useless - it's great for taking them out - launch an anti-radiation missile and jam the SAM, he will not be able to shot down your missiles
• you can take out specific missiles with the tactical laser
• nozzles are automated, but you can disable their automation by pressing F and control them manually with up/down cursor keys by default

You can play with those new mechanics in this single mission where you need to provide SEAD/DEAD for Darkreaches conducting a strike.
