This was a proof of concept we did for a video game, the idea being that with very few bones we could create a decent amount of facial animation depicting various emotions to comply with the game engine constraints. We rigged the face using the methods from the book Stop Staring by Jason Osipa. Although this animation looks quite bad for a film, and definitely show some glaring issues with deformation around the mouth and eyes it ended up being good enough to be used for the game!!. ;)
