Facing Lethal and Won't Concede? I Gotchu - Magic: The Gathering Arena ( MTGA )
What's goen on Malakes Vnncz3 bringing you more Magic: The Gathering Arena. In this video I'm going to showcase this Blue / Black God-Pharaoh's Gift control deck that I mostly brewed up.In my opinion this Blue Black Version of God-Pharaoh's Gift is more so a control deck then a beat down down/combo deck. What I mean by that is the creatures inside it for the most part provide some sort of utility that hedges against the current meta of either aggro or control. I didn't mention midrange because your matchup against midrange is actaully really good and you're definitely favored to win that match. The reasons why you lose to midrange is because your draws are very poor or they have every single answer they'll need like abrades as in plural and tons of spot removal/board clears like hour of devastation/fumigate. The hardest matchup I had with this deck actually was the white wheenie cat tribal deck. With the new Leonin Warleader, Ajani planeswalker, and it's incredible resilience to various plays it was actually difficult to make hedgeway against that deck but after giving it a lot of thought on plays I ended up pulling quite a head once I got a few eternalized Gifted Aetherborn and used the Ravenous Chupacabra's spot removal on a body to my advantage I ended up just mowing over it over. Again, It was my hardest matchup out of all the Control and Red Deck wins I went up against.
I found that I was sideboarding out The Scarab God and Minister of Inquiries the most for the different kind of matchups that I went against.
I wouldn't cut The Scarab God because he actually ended up winning me very heavy mono white control deck by allowing me to work around all of the cast out's and Ixalan's bindings my opponent played toward the end. I was locked out from playing any GPG and any Temples due to the Ixalan's Bindings my opponent placed.
All in all this deck is a lot of fun to play with and it's very consistent despite not having tons and tons of cycling cards.

I've been playing Magic: The Gathering (MTG) for a very long time (like 15+ years) and I'm absolutely loving Magic: The Gathering Arena (MTGA) because standard is my favorite format to play. The other formats are just to stale for me because they rarely ever change so I'm just not a fan of them. Also, the other formats are either combo or counter spell. Rarely do you ever get an honest match like you do in standard and I'm not a fan of that sort of meta.
