Factorio 2.0: Parameterized Train Network
Factorio 2.0 gave the potential to replicate the old LTN mod in vanilla using (a lot of) combinators. This is a system that is the result of over 2 months of testing and fiddling with trains and signals. I'm probably not be the first person to come up with something like this, but I've never been the fastest with signals in this game, and I'm rather proud with how it's turned out. I'm currently using it in my modded Space Age run and it working quite well.

There are three limitations to the current system:
1) Trains cannot handle items with stack sizes of 1
2) Depots of one type must be in the same place
3) Trains of one type must all be the same length
3.5) Brownouts cause weird things to happen.
