Factorio Extended is a a simple end game mod which adds 1 to 2 new tiers of items, power sources, furnaces, assemblers and more to extend the end game of a factorio base much beyond what is possible in base game. The new machines and items are extremely powerful but come with an equally high cost so it is not trivial to leap over tiers to get to the very end game items.
Because of a change in an earlier version of 0.16 Factorio Extended does not work anymore and so there is now an updated version called 'Factorio Extended Plus' which fixes mod compatability for 0.16 stable as well as a few other bugs.

The end goal is to see how far a Factorio Extended megabase can go, can it achieve over 8K/min science without a massive performance drop?
