Factory Town is an indie game that recently fully released on Steam after over two years in early access. Factory town is in many ways a much sweeter version of Factorio. Less brutal, more poly, and overall a more peaceful experience. Factory town is a strategy, simulation, and resource management game with strong elements of city building and colony management thrown in the mix!

In Factory Town your goal is to advance your little resource dependent town, keep your people happy and growing with food, and of course EXPAND. As you industrialize and begin to automate your town throughout the eight research phases of Factory Town's campaign mode, you'll advance through the ages (informally) and pick up new technologies like automated conveyor belts, trains, and even air ships!

This is my (not sponsored btw) review and overview video for Factory Town! I largely focus on gameplay from the earlier stages, but trust me it gets very industrial later on. Factory Town is an enjoyable and cheap experience that I can recommend to fans of games like Banished, Factorio, Colony Survival and similar sim/strat/city building games. It's survival elements are less brutal, but its resourse management and logistics system is just as complete, if not slightly clunky at times.
