Part 3 is a short one, as it was pretty solely focused on unlocking the mines. Now that I have the mines open I'm going to go and do some grinding to collect enough copper for upgrades, and then I'll be back with part 4.

Thoughts so far:
Holy crap, 10 ore for 1 ingot? That feels pretty steep, especially here in the early stages of entering the mine. I wasn't as prepared as I should have been for the mine, bringing only the basic amount of food with me. I'll certainly need to do a better job of prepping for my mining adventures later on. Upgrading my tools opens up several new building options and faster gathering. Faster gathering = faster cash = new fishing pole = victory over the sea.
