You see, the issue here is that, the CPU cooler's base contact plate is not big enough to cover the whole GPU die.
Therefore we get a uncooled junction that jumps up to (hotspot) 110C in seconds.
And that is the issue when your contact plate isn't fitting the GPU right huh?
Gotta consider using stock heatsink (albeit without the shroud but improvising a shroud right onto the GPU heatsink itself).
