Fairly OddParents Intro Speedrun Any% First WR! NEW Glitches found!
29Sorry for the lower quality video this week. My whole family is ill and it has been a long week lol. Thanks to everyone who has helped make 2019 an awesome year for Mind Wack!
EXPLANATION:
1. During the "Survive the Bus Ride" sequence, there are around 3-5 frames where Timmy's position on screen is exactly identical to his position as he enters the yard at the end of the mini-game. By spamming action buttons, the game tries to resolve all the actions at once in the background of the cutscene. This skips the game to th first frame where Timmy is in the same position but able to move. Saves over 5 seconds!
2. During the first mini-encounter with the Vicky Boss, she will grab Timmy and do a scream attack. As she drops Timmy, there is a few frames where he is falling at great speed. If you spam the ground-pound AND jump AND roll buttons fast enough, Timmy will clip through the ground and fall into a later part of the level. The devs programmed the game to load the level areas on top of each other for faster loading between screens. This jumps through quite a bit of the level and starts the Final Boss Encounter: Vicky Chase. Saves at least 10 seconds
3. During the Vicky Chase Boss Fight, you can break the game's hit detection and ability cooldowns. Normally, there is a short period where Vicky is immune to the next attack. By switching rapidly between Cosmo and Wanda using your Support Slot while also mashing their Magic Attack buttons, you can get Wanda's attacks to nulify the immunity barrier while Cosmo's attack lands. This also makes the game think Vicky has transformed when Wanda's attacks hit and skips a good chunk of the battle. Saves over 9 seconds!
