Fairy Tale about Father Frost, Ivan and Nastya (Longplay): Part 9of9
Chapter 9:
In which Ivan must save Nastienka. Watch the end of the story!
Gameplay notes: The puzzle is incredibly easy. You just need to click the skulls in the right order. There are no hints, you just need to take a guess. Also, the right combination won't vary from game to game, it's always the same.
The book in the hut reveals that it was Baba Yaga who cursed Sasha. Why? Well, she's EVIL.
Interesting Facts:
The dragon Gorich is some sort of alternative version of Zmey Gorynych, also known as a Slavic dragon. It looks like developers were just too lazy to draw all three heads. One-headed dragons aren't part of Slavic fairy tales at all, but oh well, it's not the most ridiculous thing in the game. But still...
Father Frost is another name for Father Christmas, Santa Claus, etc. He's very common in Russia. In the original version of this fairy tale though, he was called Morozko (Frosty). Original fairy tale is quite different too.
The hut on chicken legs (Izbushka na kuryikh nozhkakh) in which Baba Yaga (another classical character, cannibal hag) lives is a very common element of Slavic fairy tales. The main idea is that to enter this hut, the hero must order it to turn to him. In the game though, the hut won't obey so easily, you'll need to solve the puzzle first.
