Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes: Steamrolled
0This was a very comfortable campaign. Carrodus has some ridiculous bonuses by default and great spells when played as a Mage (e.g. Haste, Heal and Wellspring). In the event you've miscalculated, there's always Escape. On top of that, there are the Capitar's financial bonuses. The upshot of all this is you're able to outfit and field expensive armies, keep them alive and quickly turn them into killing machines.
The game feels like it has some balancing issues. There are a lot of choices available to the player -- which is good -- but there aren't enough incentives to try them all out. Interesting choices have both benefits and drawbacks. When one choice is all benefit, why bother with alternatives? This is not just a problem at the faction level; it's a problem throughout Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes.
