Canterbury Commons is south of the Republic of Dave, south-east of the Temple of the Union. It's location may be revealed by the wandering caravan merchants.

Upon entering the town, you see a fight between the AntAgonizer and the Mechanist.

Uncle Roe will then approach you asking for help.

The quest has multiple endings: you can talk down both heroes, kill them both, or join with one and kill the other.
Killing them will earn you their unique weapons: the Ant's Sting, a poisoned knife, and the Protectron's Gaze, a mini laser shotgun.

The good karma route without exploiting glitches only lets you gain their armor.

Dealing with one but not the other will complete the quest but will not let you gain bonus caps.

To stand a chance with good karma dialogue, talk to Derek and Joe Porter.

Loot:
Search the backroom of the garage/house next to the diner for ammo, a Dean's Electronics, and a unique tire iron named Highwayman's Friend.
