Fallout 4 Desert Overhaul, thematic Mods Load Order for Xbox Series X S and Xbox One
This is “Fallout 4 Desert Overhaul, thematic Mods Load Order for Xbox Series X S and Xbox One”, thanks to these Mods Fallout 4 will be set into a desert environment, but of course I also included some minor extra changes to really emphasize the theme.

Very important thing for this Load Order, the main Mod that puts sand everywhere needs both the Nuka World and Far Harbor DLCs to be installed, sorry for vanilla users but I couldn't find an alternative option this time around, oh, and also, before the actual Load Order feel free to choose for yourself if you want to install the usual Unofficial Fallout 4 patch, and with this said let's go through the Mods list: in the craftable items section you will find “Wasteland Fashion - Clothing For Vanilla Bodies” https://bethesda.net/it/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/4173688 , this Mod adds quite some options to craft desert and cowboy themed clothes at chem stations! And they look pretty great. Moving on, in the section for the building of settlements there is “Conquest - Build New Settlements And Camping [XB1]” https://bethesda.net/it/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/958032 , with this Mod you can create camps or new actual Settlements!
Then I picked the Mod “Project Mojave Outfit Pack” https://bethesda.net/it/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/4267888 , every item of this Xbox Mod is a faithful recreation of certain clothing items found in Fallout New Vegas, and the Modder made an amazing job with this project! All these clothes should be found on NPCs and also from vendors, but in my case I didn't have luck finding any, thankfully you can also craft them at chem stations like the other Mod. To better vibe with the desert of Fallout 4 the Minutemen have to evolve: “Minutemen Relooked” https://bethesda.net/it/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/2957995 changes the appearance of the Minutemen to be more militaristic, and I find this style very much in tone with a desert. The loot is finished, so the weather awaits! The best choice for some quick improvements of the various weathers is “Better Graphics And Weather - DLC [XB1]” https://bethesda.net/it/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/4052185 , this time I picked the DLC version specifically because this Load Order was already dependent from the DLCs. After this “[XB1] Enhanced Flickering Firelight” https://bethesda.net/it/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/3412883 improves all the minor light sources of Fallout 4.
The main Mod to make this thematic Load Order for Fallout 4 work is “Badlands 2 [XB1]” https://bethesda.net/it/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/4223650 , while the Mod probably uses assets from Nuka World and Far Harbor I believe a lot of work went into it, as every area of the Commonwealth is now desertified. Something I wanted to do for this Load Order in particular was to give it some character, this was achieved thanks to a set of peculiar Mods: “Illuminated Billboards - Lighting | No-Broken Billboards [XB1]” https://bethesda.net/it/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/3195736 lits up all the intact electric billboards of Fallout 4, creating a great atmosphere at night, “Bus Stop - Lighting” https://bethesda.net/it/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/2612527 does the same for the bus stops and for the little screens mounted on them, “Repaired Red Rocket By VIitS” https://bethesda.net/it/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/4029288 is a version not yet shown on the channel of this type of improvement for the Red Rocket stations, thanks to it the electric parts of the stations are lit up, and most of the station with a particular emphasis on the interior and its floors have new textures! Then there is also “Starlight Drive-In And Diner [XB1]” https://bethesda.net/it/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/2701196 to lit up the drive-in as it was in the pre-war era, minus the disastrous destruction of course, and “Goodfellow's Glorified Goodneighbor - XBONE” https://bethesda.net/it/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/1681982 to flash out Goodneighbor much better than in Vanilla Fallout 4.
And the final touch for this Xbox Mods Load Order is “Better Settlers XBOX” https://bethesda.net/it/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/2256408 , which adds a large variety of new settlers to the vanilla settler selections, instead of the mere 30 available settlers of the base game, Fallout 4 now includes 190 different settlers!
