This is a demo of my control scheme, which is part old school mech simulator and part fighting game arcade stick inspired. I use a Logitech G502 mouse and a Thrustmaster T16000 flight stick.

I try to stay out of menus as much as possible because I feel like they impair the sense of "flow" of the battle. I use registrator2000's FO4 Hotkeys mod so I can increase the number of available hotkeys, so I can better combo with ranged and melee attacks. It's great when you can think of the need for a weapon or attack and be able to switch to it almost instantly.
