Fallout 4 Mod Highlight #4 | DPillari Madness!!
7The Pristine Cryolator, the Lavish Laser Musket, the Radical Ripper and the Humble Hunting Rifle. All names of weapons DPillari has retextured and uploaded this week. Yes, that's right, DPillari has been on an absolute Fallout 4 modding rampage!! So this week on Fallout 4 Mod Highlights, it's up to us to find out just how these boring vanilla weapons have been given a well deserved face lift!
I always find retextures of vanillla weapons are a great, performance friendly way of making a some fresh changes to any new or current playthrough. The great thing about DPillari's retextures are the fact that they aim to keep the same feel and vibe of the original, but making them look more interesting. This is mainly through adding extra symbols and decals just to make them look manufactured and used. All of the weapon's metal textures have been de-rusted so some of the shine can be seen. This is particularly obvious on the Lavish LaserMusket. The mod author also goes the extra mile when needed, such as to fix small bugs, changing meshes and making sure all accessories such as mods and ammunition tie in with the weapon's new aesthetic. Other than that all I have to say is this is a very well done mod and is a must download for any and all.
