Fallout 4 - Pilotwings 64 Jetpack SFX mod
Feelin' nostalgic? Remember that unique TSHCCHHHHK TSCHHHHK from Pilotwings 64? Here you can have it, my pack comes with many jetpacksoundvariations you can listen to and swap manually. If you mess up, then you can just redownload.
I couldn't get rid of some unwanted sounds unfortunately, but it's a good version 1.0. I will keep improving.

Well i tried my hands on this sound loop creation which Fallout 4 uses for several things like jetpack sound, minigun loop or flamerthrower loop etc. It requires you to mark the wav file with loop points to make it work ingame, or otherwise they loop endlessly
The mainfilename is "OBJ_Rocket_Pack_01_LPM"
You CAN install this via Nexus modmanager, but i prefere the manual way for soundeffects. Just place the 'data' folder into your Fallout4 directory after you've properly set up your Fallout4.ini and Fallout4prefs.ini for modding.
--------------------------
How to prepare Fallout4 for modding:
You will need to add the following line to the Fallout4Prefs.ini file below the section marked [Launcher]:
bEnableFileSelection=1
You will need to change the following line in Fallout4.ini:
sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\
---------------------------
Also here a nice tutorial how to create simple soundloops for FO4:

And keep your eyes out i am also working on a HUGE AvP2/VtMB SFX mod, which has all the good stuff, minigun sounds, pulserifle, visceral fleshhiteffects from both AvP2 and VtMB, footsteps, etc. sound swaps:
Deathclaw = Alien Queen
Mirelurk King = Predalien
Radscorpion = Drone
Mirelurk Spawn = Facehugger
etc.
Dungeon music list has been replaced with VtMB creepy ambience tracks.
All the good AvP2 combat tracks will be in my pack.
So far i have changed around 650(!)+ soundeffects. It will let you feel the nostalgiy of AvP2 and VtMB in Fallout 4. This is kind of a big project and i am eager to show it off. I will compile a video soon, so stay tuned!
