Scorched Earth is one of the oldest end-game events in-game and probably the first that required you to fight as a group in order to defeat the 3-stars legendary boss Scorchbeast Queen. But things have changed with the Wild Appalachia DLC and the on-going Nuclear Winter DLC content. However, the question still remains... Is it worth your time to farm the Scorched Earth event? What rewards can you expect and how to get the most out of the experience? First of all, this event is totally worth your time but only under certain circumstances. You shouldn't expect great legendaries, instead perceive the drops as scrip material as the general rule. This event is ideal to farm scrip, caps, XP, flux and improved repair kits to easily repair any gear piece. In the end, you should always think about the efforts vs. final rewards. It might be a great idea to get a Nuclear Keycard and do a Silo run to start a Scorched Earth if your server is full... For instance, it might not be a great idea to join the event if you are low in resources.
