Bethesda has finally decided to disable the Survival Mode Beta... Their main reason for this decision was based on the fact that we now have Nuclear Winter, a battle royale mode dedicated to PvP. However, this topic is much more complex than it seems. There are many serious reasons why Survival Mode never thrived. Despite the general lack of interest in the mode, Fallout 76 players just don't seem to find joy in engaging other players. There is too much risk for the value you can get... and even the damage rules are unbalanced and confusing. In the end, there is no real incentive to play Survival. No wonder the servers have been empty for months and it is now going offline for good!
