This quest gains you Rex the cyberdog as a companion.

Just inquire to the King about Rex and volunteer to help.

This quest actually isn't very hard. Just follow the quest objectives.

The trip to Jacobstown is simple enough if you stick to the main road north-west out of the greater Vegas area.

When you meet Dr. Henry in Jacobstown, he says he'll need a new brain for Rex.

You have three options:
Rey from Old Lady Gibson will increase Rex's attack damage. Gibson will sell the rights to kill him. If you have 70 barter, you can get the brain without paying.

Violetta's brain will increase Rex's speed. She is found near her master Violet, who is a target in the quest Three-Card Bounty.

Lupa is owned by Anthony in the Fort, which is only accessible once Render Unto Caesar is active. Anthony agrees to give Lupa's brain if you defeat the dog in arena combat naked and with only a machete. Lupa's brain increases Rex's damage threshold.

When you have your desired brain, return to Doc Henry to have Rex fixed up.
