Necropolis is a ruin of Pre War city. Vault is located beneath the ruins so we should explore this place. If Vault Dweller arrives to Necropolis too late after 25 March, Mutants from the Unity invades the city and kills every ghouls in it. We can complete the quest but we can't speak with Set or his fellas. Anyway we must eliminate Supermutants and find Vault 12 deep underground. In first district you find ghoul bodies in three locations. If you came here before 25 March this ghouls will attack you anyway and you must kill them. But in our version they already dead. Kill first mutants in the building and collect the loot. Now open the entrance to the sewers and go underground. Kill Mole Rats and find the ladder. Two ladder in this section of the sewers will lead to the church. You will find Supermutants here to kill and bodies of Set and his friends. If you came earlier he will give you a quest to fix the waterpump. But is not pleased from fact that you want to take the Water Chip. Clean this district and go back underground. Move to antoher section of the sewers and find another ladder. You are in the main section now. Area is filled with Supermutants with or without names. Two of them are tough guys. One is Harry, leader of this group. He wields Laser Rifle and deals a lot of damage. Watch out for Ian if he is still alive. he can die from few shots. Try to kill Harry fast as you can. The second mutant is in room north of Harry along with his 2 firends. Two of them attacks unarmed but third one has a Flamethrower. Don't let him close to you with this toy. He can rip through your combat armor and kill you in two shots or one critical. Try to lure him out of the room and shoot him in the eyes. All mutants are dead now and you should descend to one sewer entrance, kill some mole rats and find the Junk. Item is in norther chamber. Now go back and repair the Waterpump using Junk. You will receive 1000 experience points no matter if Set lives or not. Now find the hidden entrance to the Vault and go deep underground. Feral ghouls will try to stop in the entrance just kill them and enter the Vault. On first level you find nothing. On second level some ghouls to kill and items to collect. On third level clear all rooms and go to the Command Center. Kill the ghouls and find the computer with Water Chip. Take him out and gain 1000 experience points. Now is time to go back where we came from. Travel back to Vault 13 and go to Overseer. Give him the Water Chip and tell him about the Supermutants. He will send you again to the Wasteland with two objectives. Destroy the production of the Supermutants and kill their leader. We will need a lot of firepower to defeat them. Vault Dweleer decides to visit the Brotherhood of Steel and gain their help defeat the Supermutants.
