The difficulty of this mission is in its length. It includes three different maps and equals to three regular missions. That's why caution on every step is needed.

Cheyenne Mountain. The machine gunner is the most important unit here. I use Vindicator for that purpose because there are lots of ammo for it to maintain suppressive fire from long range. If we see the group of enemies on the open its better use M2. But if they are hiding time to time the minigun is the choice because there are no problems with ammo spent during the bursts that hit no targets, the amount of bullets fired are enough for a decent critical chance and the critical damage is pretty high.

Vault 0. Lots of corridors and thin passages. So recon first, shoot later. Always create a reserve choke point in case enemy counter push. If the recon is not possible move a squad member with best endurance hex by hex with Gauss minigun or Jackhammer. Fortunately its not that many of such situations. And if the enemy is knocked out from far away don't rush to finish him not to be ambushed. Just wait when he gets up with the weapon causing bigger damage then your sniper's if its safe. If not just wait till the sniper solves the problem. Better to wait a bit more than to fail and start the whole mission all over at the doorstep of the whole game completion.

But there are two places where the random may stop the progress no matter what to do. Two turret positions. One with the three MG turrets is on the way to the mountain and the second is on the passage leading to the Calculator lair. In both cases the only way to attack them is from short distance while they can kill you in one critical burst. Its not possible to avoid them or hide & shoot them because they are fast enough and can't be suppressed making their shots uninterruptable. So the beast way is to use another squad member to save the main one. But if you decide to play with your character as the main assault unit as I did, Jackhammer with pulse ammo at point blank is the solution to kill the turrets ASAP.

While meeting the General near the mission end his two dialogues were mixed up somehow, so I placed them in direct order using video editor. And the bullet from initiate Percy was given to the Calculator as he asked.

That's it, Fallout Tactics finished. The most difficult Fallout. If you are ok with a bit of tactical thinking don't listen to people who say that FT is ''not true" and so on, just try it. The most difficult Fallout universe enemies are in FT. Not Lanius, not even Horrigan himself (though the last one if converted with his weapons to FT engine would be a dangerous opponent) cause a player so much trouble as for example the third raider in the first mission with a Colt pistol.
