Continuing on with the trend of naming these episodes after a Square Enix game I'd rather be playing, I decided to try to be a little clever this time around, considering a scene that occured in this game. It's flimsy wordplay to say the least, but it's the best I can do and I'm still happy with it.
Ended up playing much longer than I wanted to this session. The people in the chat goaded me to continue until I reached a specific point, but 4 hours per stream is my limit. They keep saying it's going to get better, but I've already pumped about 7 hours into this game and it's showing no signs of improvement so far. They keep telling me that it's going to improve once I finish "the first part". What this "first part" is, I don't entirely understand. First disc? The first area, Midgar?
The people watching my stream are also getting agitated over my unfavorable comparison of FFVII to other turn-based RPGs. The weird thing is, I've been sticking mostly to games that are actually OLDER than the game in question: the most recent game I've had the gall to compare it to was the original Paper Mario. Yes, it came out 3 years after Final Fantasy 7: in 2000.
