0The bird died from an apparent suicide, smashing into my living room window and instantly snapping its neck. We suspect it was sick and therefore had impaired vision, because really, my windows aren't so clean that you'd think there's nothing there. The kittens' mom sniffed at the bird while it was still warm, but wasn't interested. Maybe she smelled that it was afflicted with something nasty.
