Battle Group VR is a new Quest 2 game brought over from steam via aplabs. In Battlegroup you'll take command of a ship who in turn controls an armada of ships and complete various missions in the vastness of space. As a real time strategy game Battlegroup is very complex but understanding it and grasping it all to bring your team to victory is all part of the fun of it.

In this game you'll have several modes you can play such as missions, Skirmish, multiplayer, co-op (in beta testing) and challenges. This video focuses primarily on missions and Skirmish. To prepare for a battle you'll have to assign ships to your fleet and assign captains to each ship. Each captain has stats and some have special abilities for their ship. Each ship can buy and upgrade weapons and parts for it so the customization feels endless. Combat is smooth and reactive. You can play in a grid mode overlooking the entire battlefield or switch to a command view controlling your ship from the bridge. The voice acting is very well done and the fun factor is spot on here. Highly recommend to RTS fans or just space fans in general.
