Playing MEGAMAN In This NEW VR Game - Quest 2 Gameplay On Steam
14System Critical: The Race Against Time is the closest thing to Megaman I've ever played in VR. Pick up a blaster gun and progress through the levels to the boss at the end of each stage. The platforming feels true to a megaman game and it is pretty fun but I do have some issues I'll address here and in the video.
★ First off the Good: this game feels fun to play and has several weapons aside from the initial blaster including a super blaster found in later levels. It runs very smoothly and doesn't look bad at all if not a bit bland. The environments are fine but the platforms could use some variety. There's a double jump which is cool and u can run. The difficulty feels on par although the boss felt very challenging.
★ Now the Bad: there are no settings controls so u cannot change things such as turning, audio, and the such with no settings menu. The blaster while it looks cool and feels good requires you to hold onto it with grip instead of being a permanent fixture on your arm. There is also no tutorial and while u can pick up the game pretty quickly some things should be explained to you.
★ Overall while I think the game is very fun to play o feel there are multiple issue which need to be addressed, those of which I've reported back to the developer. Die hard megaman fans such as myself will def enjoy this however I feel like those who aren't diehard fans or just casual megaman fans might not enjoy this one as much. But with that said I also haven't played any game quite like it in VR yet.
