Some free roaming gameplay from the PC version of Far Cry 4. I'm a relative latecomer to the game as I was expecting it to be a bad rehash of Far Cry 3, so I didn't buy it on release. But I got it free with my GTX 970 and it's turned out to be a surprisingly fun open world experience, a great improvement over FC3. However, while the graphics and gameplay are quite good, unfortunately there is still some noticeable frame skipping/micro-stutter visible throughout the video, even though I averaged 45-60 FPS (V-Sync capped) while recording. It seems to be inherent to the engine, and looks much worse in the video unless you choose 60 FPS YouTube video quality, i.e. 720p60 or 1080p60. Unfortunately this is currently restricted to the HTML5-based player in Chrome or IE, not Firefox.

Game running at 1920x1200 without letterboxing (using this black bar remover: http://www.wsgf.org/forums/viewtopic.php?p=154859#p154859). All settings at maximum possible. Using SMAA Anti-aliasing as I feel it provides the best AA quality short of DSR. VSync is enabled but so too is Triple Buffering to offset the performance impact of VSync.

Note: This is the first video I've uploaded which has been recorded with Shadowplay (50mbps quality) instead of Fraps.
