A sample of basic gameplay from the PC version of South Park: The Stick of Truth. The video begins with the intro cinematic, then runs through character creation, the tutorial sections, and then ends with some random combat and wandering around the town. It demonstrates the RPG mechanics and contains no spoilers as such.

If you've ever enjoyed an episode of South Park, then this game will please on every level. It's basically like an interactive episode of the show, but with enough RPG elements and a generally open game world to make it much more interesting and allow genuine exploration. A very funny, well executed comedy/RPG, possibly the best game to use a licensed property to date.

Note: In some countries the game has been censored. This censorship takes the form of six 20-second cut-scenes involving an alien probe and two abortion sequences being removed.

The game is running at 1920x1200. The only real graphics setting is resolution - the stylised 2D graphics look identical to the TV show, and don't need to be customized. The game engine is also locked at a maximum of 30FPS, which it sat at throughout the video. This is perfectly fine and in no way results in any feeling of lag.

Running on a stock i7 920 / GTX 580 system.
