The release of the Lost on Mars DLC has seen the addition of some new weapons to Far Cry 5's base game. These new weapons have destroyed any semblance of balance the game had from launch until now and it's a frustrating experience for anyone who enjoyed using the weapons that they did, now doing so means purposefully handicapping your effectiveness.

More than focusing on Far Cry 5 specifically, I would like to hear from people about their thoughts concerning balance inside our favorite games and whether a move like this is bad overall for a game's health.
