Far Cry 5 w/ Resistance Mod v2 Part 1 [ Hard ]
5Every Far Cry game manages to improve in some areas, and totally collapse in others. Here's one where it's fun to play and has a great setting, but you miss tons of content without increasing capture point requirements, nearly all environmental destruction details that even 3 and 4 had are gone, and the weapon pool is so small they have literal reskins of existing guns with the same enhancements available. So what happens this time around? The opening sequence breaks and not only makes it impossibly hard to beat (just look at the first death of the playthrough), it also makes it actually impossible to beat because it teleports you back to an earlier location and kills you. You're just going to have to deal with me skipping the intro entirely, despite the story beats, because frankly it's been 4 years since release and this should have been fixed well before New Dawn or FC6 were even thought of.
Plans change, and I feel like playing something on a system where I can at least appear competent aka kb+m. Obviously I should show that competence by playing on the highest difficulty. This was such a last minute decision that I delayed starting anything until this late just so I could redownload this and reconfigure the resistance mod. I won't have boosted body armor health because that apparently breaks the game if you use it from the start. I don't know about New Dawn (yet), but this game could use a runthrough that wasn't done in a weird period.
