Farcry 4 - SteamDeck GamePlay
0Soooo red dead redemption took me all of 5 weeks to Finish and what a game, loved every minute and once I completed it I thought to myself ‘what next’. I decided I would go simple, a good shooter that I can just have fun with and put some hours into and I thought to myself Farcry is the one.
I started the Farcry games at number 3 and have played and completed every entry since and enjoyed all of them. Farcry 4 being a personal favourite so I thought I’d jump straight in at one and see how it plays on the Deck…
Where to start, right. The fact you have to sign up to Ubisoft connect is a huge, huuuuge pain in the arse and it’s worse and more long winded then the Rockstar launcher. Took me an hour of messing about to finally get it up and running and maaaan was it worth it. This game plays amazingly. Graphically it’s better on the Deck than a ps4 and a tonne more entertaining having it in the palm of your hands.
Anyone that knows the Farcry games know you are playing it for the story, you are playing for the action and gameplay. God damn you get in in this game. Entertaining as hell.
For the record I got the game on the official steam store for £5 and yes it was annoying to get it up and running but once I did it worth every penny, zero glitches, zero stuttering, zero tampering. It plays perfect straight off the bat. Absolute Bargain for the price.
I’ve put 3/4 hours in and loving it.

I would have gone 5 had it not been for the niiiightmare I had on the first start up, 1 hour and 45% of my battery drained just getting it to play is just too much and too annoying
