Fast, Scary Enemies & their AI! - Hazel & The Haunted Hues Hotel Devlog 4
This is the fourth in a series of devlogs detailing the development of our Twinstick shooter: Hazel & The Haunted Hues Hotel.
We plan to make HHHH an arcade style topdown shooter, with mechanics based around colour, made in GameMaker Studio 2.
We're first time devs, with me (Jimmy) doing the coding & music and my partner Carla doing the art.
I've also been streaming the whole process over on twitch but these videos are there if you'd prefer a summary or want to catch up.
This episode deals mainly deals with getting our enemies into the game and having them attack us and carry out their roles, along with a ton of bug fixes and other small issues that we sorted out.
