7This is the fifth in a series of devlogs detailing the development of our Twinstick shooter: Hazel & The Haunted Hues Hotel.
We plan to make HHHH an arcade style topdown shooter, with mechanics based around colour, made in GameMaker Studio 2.
We're first time devs, with me (Jimmy) doing the coding & music and my partner Carla doing the art.
I've also been streaming the whole process over on twitch but these videos are there if you'd prefer a summary or want to catch up.
This episode deals with getting our last of this floor's standard enemies in place & beginning to create the first floor of the hotel.
