An unusual hobby 'Fat carving' has begun in Fallingbostel Station, Germany. This new course has started encouraging students to get designing rather than digesting their love of lard. For the past 7 years kitchen manager, Sgt Jim Nash, has been perfecting his sculpting skills using not clay but white pastry margarine. He's now started his own evening class to share his love for lard. All the students are trying to encourage Jim to organise another class next year.
