몬스터 무리 속에서 살아남기 위한 스킬 빌딩형 액션 로그라이크 게임입니다. 귀여운 듯 혼돈스러운 세계관 속에서 플레이어는 클래스와 무기를 선택해 끊임없이 몰려오는 적들을 처치하고, 스킬을 조합하며 전투를 이어가야 하죠.
처음에는 무료로 주어지는 클래스와 무기를 활용해 시작하지만, 게임을 플레이하며 얻은 골드로 더 강력한 클래스와 상위 무기를 해금할 수 있습니다. 각 클래스는 사용할 수 있는 무기가 정해져 있으며, 전투 중 자동으로 무기가 발동되는 구조입니다. 여기에 스페이스바를 꾹 누르면 차징 공격으로 대미지를 강화할 수 있어, 상황에 따라 공격 타이밍을 조절하는 전략도 중요합니다.
적을 처치하면 경험치와 골드를 얻게 되고, 레벨업 시 포인트를 통해 다양한 스킬을 선택하거나 강화할 수 있습니다. 공격, 보조, 속성 등 다양한 스킬군이 존재하며, 5레벨 스킬을 3개 보유하면 그 중 하나를 각성해 더욱 강력한 형태로 전환할 수 있습니다. 선택이 애매할 경우 리롤도 가능하며, 특정 레벨의 스킬을 확정적으로 선택하는 시스템도 준비되어 있어 빌드 구성이 자유롭죠.
또한, 게임 맵에는 양이 돌아다니며 존재감을 드러냅니다. 적 1000마리를 처치하면 티켓을 얻을 수 있고, 이를 이용해 상자를 열어 랜덤 업그레이드를 받을 수 있습니다. 상자에서는 체력, 공격력, 레벨업 등 다양한 보너스를 획득할 수 있죠. 일정 웨이브마다 등장하는 보스를 처치하면 맵 전체의 경험치와 골드를 자동 수집하는 자석 효과도 발생합니다.
게임은 일정 시간 동안 생존하면 마지막 보스가 등장하며, 이를 처치하거나 패배하면 골드 정산과 함께 게임이 종료됩니다. 획득한 골드는 클래스/무기 해금 외에도 각 클래스의 능력 강화를 위한 영구 업그레이드에 사용할 수 있으며, 업적을 통해 추가 보상을 받을 수도 있죠.
다만, 보스 처치 시의 보상이 다소 아쉽고, 일부 스킬 조합의 시너지 체감이 약하다는 점은 아쉬운 부분입니다. 그럼에도 불구하고 적당한 자동화와 유동적인 성장 시스템이 어우러진 Fat Sheep Crisis는 가볍게 몰입할 수 있는 로그라이크 액션 게임입니다.

Fat Sheep Crisis is a chaotic action roguelike where waves of enemies crash down on you while you build powerful skill combos and survive alongside… sheep?
You start by selecting a class and weapon—initially free, with more options unlocked using gold earned in runs. Each class is limited to certain weapon types, and combat unfolds automatically, with the added option of charging attacks by holding the spacebar for increased damage.
Defeating enemies grants gold and experience, which you use to level up and choose from a variety of offensive, support, or elemental skills. Once you’ve maxed three skills to level 5, you can awaken one of them into a more powerful version. If none of the skill options appeal to you, rerolls are available—and with enough points, you can even select a guaranteed high-level skill.
One of the game’s quirks? Sheep roam the battlefield. For every 1,000 enemies defeated, you earn a ticket to open upgrade crates—granting bonuses like attack boosts, healing, or free level-ups. Periodic boss fights offer a magnetic sweep, instantly collecting all gold and XP on the map.
After surviving the timer, the final boss appears. Whether you defeat it or fall trying, your earnings are tallied. You can use gold to unlock new classes, upgrade stats like HP and attack, or complete achievements for extra rewards.
While some boss rewards feel underwhelming and skill synergies can be hit-or-miss, Fat Sheep Crisis thrives on its lively pacing and upgrade depth. It's a fun, fast roguelike where explosive battles and quirky sheep collide.
