Stuck In Time is a unique survival puzzle game where you manage mana and create efficient loops to survive an endless cycle. Your goal is to optimize the loop to maximize efficiency while avoiding mana depletion.
The core gameplay revolves around setting up a loop of actions—like moving, attacking, and interacting—by registering them in a list. Once configured, you execute the loop, and the character performs the actions in sequence. Each action consumes time and mana, and if mana runs out, the game ends, forcing you to restart or adjust the loop.
The key to mastering the game is to tailor each action to the characteristics of the tiles. Regular tiles allow movement, while battles occur on monster tiles, fireflies restore mana, and leveling up takes place at gravestones. As you loop repeatedly, your action proficiency increases, reducing time and mana costs and making the process more efficient. Leveling up boosts stats like maximum mana, movement speed, and health regeneration, allowing for more complex and longer loops.
The challenge lies in adapting your loop as new tiles are revealed and action efficiency improves.
