Fatal Frame 2 / Project Zero 2 Wii Edition Walkthrough With That Screaming Commentary Son Part 3
No one answered. Snake was beginning to get annoyed with the ignorance of the occupants of the house. He tried one more unmistakably loud knock just to vent when the door was pushed open by the force of his knocking. He looked at Mayu half with confusion and half with gauging her response to the idea of her brother trespassing on someone's property. He concluded with a shrug and pushed the door open further.
The door creaked as if the house was in pain, the air was heavy and slightly fogged by dust. There was no sign of any recent life, cobwebs curtained nearly ever corner but Snake was certain he saw the woman enter through here. He called out in hope for a human response, nothing. Left with nothing to go on, he decided to look around, maybe the people who live here just didn't hear him? A false hope really, it was so quiet in this house you'd be able to hear a pin drop on the other side, but with all that was happening, he needed to cling to that hope.
Mayu spotted a open book on a hearth, it stood out as it was the only thing in the room that hadn't be hidden among the dust, it looked out of place. Snake skimmed through the pages, it was a diary and from the focus of the writing and the words used, it was a woman's diary. It had some pages missing which resulted in the reading to be a little incomprehensible, there wasn't enough information to make out what the entries were about but Snake at least gathered it was about a woman documenting her search for a man. The couple in the photo maybe? This former unexciting mystery was suddenly becoming a bit more interesting.
