Entering the Himuro mansion Snake is filled with a lingering fear of this place... This was the manor that took his brother from him one year ago. Regardless, he knows the mansion will not offer any sympathy to him for his loss. He has to get through this nightmare just one more time. forcing the heavy stone doors open he sees the torture device used to sacrifice shrine maidens to prevent the calamity from being set free. Last time he was here he was faced with a disfigured entity that sought to give him the same fate. To his horror that same entity was still here and still held the grudge against him. Time has been merciless on the maiden showing signs of the ghost beginning to wither and fade. Snake knew he could fend off this now weakened enemy again and so he did. "I'm sick of this! I just... want it to end." Reliving this nightmare was beginning to make him crazy. Having to go through your worst horror and relive the loss of the only family he had was becoming too much for him to take... He goes to leave but hears footsteps behind him... He turns fast; camera ready; expecting another attack of the undead. But to his disbelief, he saw his brother! looking lost and emotionless he fades through a door further in to the shrine. Snake sprints to the door in a rush to catch up to his brother but stops... pauses... He knows what's beyond this door, he's been here once already... "chasing the dead will get you no where..." Snake knew what he was doing was crazy but you got to understand this is the only person who he felt understood him and accepted him not to mention he was his final family member. He's faced with a choice... Continue through the doors and search for his dead brother and risk being trapped in this nightmare forever... or, let go of the past and accept what happened and live for those who need him now. The choice is obvious but hard to make.
